Privacy Policy

WordForge is built to need as little of your data as possible. There are no accounts, no ads and nothing to sell — this page explains exactly what that means.

What we do not collect

You can play every game and use every tool on WordForge without creating an account or giving us any personal details. We do not ask for your name, email or any sign-up information to use the site, and we do not build profiles of individual visitors.

Game progress and local storage

Your daily streak and puzzle results are saved using your browser’s local storage — a small amount of data kept on your own device. This information stays in your browser; it is never uploaded to us or shared with anyone. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for this site, and doing so simply resets your streak.

Analytics

To understand how the site is used and where to improve it, we may use a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool. When enabled, it records aggregate, anonymous information such as which pages are viewed, rough country, and device type. It does not use cookies, does not store personal identifiers, and does not track you across other websites.

Cookies

The site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Local storage, used for your game progress, is a separate browser feature and is not a cookie — it is not transmitted to any server.

Third-party services

Web fonts are delivered through a privacy-friendly font service (Bunny Fonts) chosen because it does not log personal data or set tracking cookies. We do not run third-party advertising, and we do not sell, rent or share any data about visitors.

Children

WordForge is a general-audience word-game site suitable for all ages, and because we do not collect personal information, no personal data is gathered from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we will update this page so it always reflects how the site actually works. Because the site is deliberately simple, changes are expected to be rare.
